Dr. Clotile Yvette Rice
Dr. Yvette Rice has thirty (30) years of combined experience as an Entrepreneur, Engineer, Program Leader/Manager, Technical Writer, Professional Development Trainer, and Speaker. Adding value to the lives of others, Rice has spent the past ten (10) years in Technical Leadership, encompassing skills as a Business Owner, Program Manager (Government Contractor), End User Documentation Specialist, Professional Development Trainer, and Motivational Orator for corporate and government agencies, as well as, non-profit organizations, both nationally and internationally.
Rice uses her years of experience as a mechanical engineer for a DoD agency, along with her strong communication and writing skills to assess the needs of targeted audiences and effectively collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop training and end user documentation that successfully achieves program goals. Her writing capabilities include developing training curriculum, online tutorials, white papers, and end user guides for in-house built technology; technical scopes of work and proposals; in addition to informative, yet, entertaining magazine and newspaper articles, and blogs. Rice is also a published author.
As a Professional Development Trainer and Speaker for various organizations, Rice has helped individuals and corporate teams raise their level of potential while finding the excellence within; thus, promoting the fulfillment of purpose.
Rice has a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and masters and doctoral degree in theology from the North Carolina College of Theology Satellite Extension Program; Wilmington, North Carolina. She is also a certified Trainer, Coach, and Speaker through the John Maxwell Online University Certification Program. Rice is also a 2018 Strayer University Town Project Scholarship recipient, presently pursuing an MBA through the Jack Welch Management Institute MBA Program.
Rice serves passionately in her community with her husband. She celebrates the joy of family life with their children and grandchildren; inspiring personal, professional, and spiritual development generationally. Rice believes that a work/life balance including personal, professional, and spiritual growth is the foundation needed to promote a life of success and purpose in the workplace, community, and home.
Community Involvement
Demonstrating our commitment to service in the local community, LLVE, LLC president, Yvette Rice, serves on the Board of Directors for the Decatur-Morgan Chamber of Commerce, as well as, the Board of Directors for the Decatur-Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center. Rice is also a leader in her local church congregation. LLVE, LLC has also provided Trainers/Speakers in a voluntary compacity for the professional, personal, and spiritual development of citizens throughout the community.
